Closure bend The use of a free end is to be preferred as a way of finishing the ends of a guardrail when they cannot be attached to the building (using a wall terminating end) or when it is necessary to open in the middle of a rail.
The use of a closure bend requires the installation of an end upright with 2 counterweights.
